ACTIVE KIDZ PRIVACY POLICY
Active Kidz respects the privacy of individuals. Generally, Active Kidz will not release personal information. However in response to a legal requirement, in the case of an emergency or in exceptional circumstances a General Manager may at his/her discretion authorise the release of the personal information. In other situations the collection, use and disclosure of personal information is governed by Active Kidz privacy policy, which can be found at www.activekidz.com.au
Our main concern is to protect the interests of children who are our audience and for this reason we monitor visitors to our website.
2. COLLECTION
2.1 Information gathered by this site’s technology
The Active Kidz may make a record of your visit and log your visit for statistical and business purposes. Such information includes your server address, domain name, IP address, the date and time of your visit, pages accessed, documents downloaded, previous site visited and the type of browser used.
2.2 Email
If you send us an email message we will record your email address. We will only use your email address for the purpose for which it was provided. We will not use your email address for any other purpose (including adding it to any mailing list) without your approval.
2.3 Information provided to Active Kidz
If we require you to complete an electronic form on this site and in doing so it requires you to enter personal information, we will collect that information to allow us to respond to your request. We will not collect personal information that would be unlawful, unnecessary or unrelated to Active Kidz activities or business.

ACTIVE KIDZ MESSAGE BOARD - TERMS OF USE
1. Active Kidz promotes health and fitness for children of all ages.
2. Active Kidz entertain children by providing developmentally and physically appropriate material for children aged between 3 to 14 years of age through their music, videos and TV series, working always from the perspective of the child. It is important to that this Message Board complements their unique and valuable form of entertainment;
3. The Active Kidz Message Board is an internet site that children and parents can visit comfortably and safely, sharing ideas and asking questions in a secure and protected environment. However, do bear in mind that children read these messages. We encourage parents to supervise the use of this message board by their children;
4. Feel free to ask Active Kidz or AK Management a question. We will try and answer your questions if we can, although the number of questions we receive and time constraints might make that a little difficult sometimes Also, feel free to try and answer each others’ questions;
5. The Active Kidz Message Board is designed to relay Active Kidz information to AK fans
- such things as upcoming events / concerts / special appearances / promotions.
6. Please treat others on the board as you would like to be treated. Please try and think about what you will be typing BEFORE you type it and the effect it may have on others. If in doubt, please refer back to these terms of use of Active Kidz Message Board as a guide, or do not post the message. You can email management@activekidz.com.au for advice. We will try and answer your email as soon as he can;
7. Active Kidz ensure that the values they present work for children not against them. None of their CDs, videos or live performances shows them as antagonistic to each other or to the other characters in the show. The emphasis is always on friendship, fun, and co-operation. We would like Active Kidz Message Board to show the same friendliness and respect for others and will have to remove any messages that do not adhere to that principle.
8. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY to any message(s) that you feel is/are inappropriate Do not post a new message with reference to the inappropriate messages/s nor acknowledge the individual who posted it. Email your concern to management@activekidz.com.au in with your reasons for wishing this message to be deleted. As a general rule, 3 or more emails received from different senders requesting the same message/topic to be removed will be removed, regardless of content. We will endeavour to respond as soon as we can; For easier message tracking, please send us the web-link to the message and message number as there are up to 20 messages per page, starting from 1 at the top of the page.
9. If your message(s) have been removed please take the hint that either your message/topic or a message within that topic was deemed inappropriate for Active Kidz Message Board. Your message may have also been moved to a more appropriate forum,
10. Any messages or content placed or intended to be placed on the Message Board may be restricted or removed at the absolute discretion of Active Star Productions Pty Ltd. Active Kidz reserve the right to restrict or remove any messages or other content submitted to the Message Board, or to leave, edit, move or delete messages, links, images, media or anything else posted on the Message Board without notice or explanation including users (usernames).
12. Active Kidz Message Board does censor certain words that may be posted; however, this censoring is not an exact science, and is being done based on the words that are being screened, so certain words may be censored out of context. Words that are censored are replaced with another alpha-numeric character.
13. If a word is filtered, it's because Active Kidz does not wish that word to be used on Message Board. Evading the word filtering system through the use of techniques such as spaces, hyphens, etc will be considered a violation of the Terms of Use of Message Board and may result in your username being locked/banned.
14. Please note that your IP address is logged in this forum and only the administrator can see this information. If you are banned and happen to register again we can identify you with your IP address and you may be banned again if the messaege board terms of use are not adhered to. Once a username is locked/banned, that username will no longer be able to log-on or sign-up with that username and email address.
15. Posting of personal information is not recommended such as telephone numbers, residential addresses or any information about others without their consent - this is for everyone's safety. Copying of messages from the Message Board to other sources, such as other message boards, without the express permission of the author of that message and Active Kidz will result in your username being locked/banned permanently if Active Kidz has seen evidence of this.
16. Please note that putting your e-mail address into the allocated box is OPTIONAL and that putting your e-mail address is your own choice - allowing others to contact you if you want. (refers only to the Message Board itself and not to the Signing Up form as the email you use to sign-up cannot be seen by others directly from the forum);
17. Messages may be left on the Message for approximately 1 to 2 months (depending on the amount and frequency of new messages per each forum) - as this keeps the message board within a reasonable size for viewing as quickly as possible for all visitors;
18. The ACTIVE KIDZ Privacy Policy - please refer to the Privacy Policy in regards to any of your personal information given during signing up.
19. Any websites (links, URLs), "chat rooms" or other message boards, images and media mentioned on Active Kidz Message Board by visitors are not supported or endorsed by Active Kidz or Active Star Productions Pty Ltd, despite some of these websites, chat rooms or message boards, images, media containing the word "Active" or part there of. Active Kidz will not be held responsible for these websites, "chat rooms" and message boards, images, media or the content that they contain and we'll restrict these where possible. Any form of third-party advertising is restricted and banned from Active Kidz Message Board, this may include third-party advertisements for Active Kidz products.
